Innovation Forum: Welcome Entrepreneurs

Join us to kick off the monthly Innovation Forum for the 2026-2027 school year! The Columbia Innovation Forum provides students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to hear startup ideas, network, form teams, and explore next steps. You’ll hear from the Columbia entrepreneurship community on ways to engage at Columbia, their experience in startups, and more.

The event will feature SEAS alumnus Angela McNeal, the CEO and co-founder of Thread AI, an AI company that provides enterprises with a reliable and secure unified platform for building and managing mission-critical AI workflows and agents.

She is an accomplished product leader in the field of artificial intelligence, and most recently served as Palantir Foundry’s Head of AI Product. With a passion for cutting-edge technologies and a penchant for problem-solving, Angela played a pivotal role in driving innovation and shaping the company's AI product strategy. Angela is known for her advocacy of data privacy, responsible AI, and ethical data handling, shaping policies and best practices. Prior to Palantir, Angela worked at Goldman Sachs and holds a degree in Computer Science with an Applied Mathematics minor from Columbia University Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in New York.
